In the Spring of 2026 Gente Fina and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago (MCA) dropped a capsule collaborative collection at the MCA. In March 2026, he dropped Gente Fina Sport, “a luxury athletic collection crafted for those who train with purpose.” In May Gente Fina was covered in the spanish speaking publication El Siglo.

In the Fall of 2025, Chicago’s professional soccer team, the Chicago Fire FC partnered with Gente Fina on a Hispanic Heritage Month capsule collection designed by Cabrera. The collection included co-branded tees, knit polos, and varsity jackets, with messaging centered on Chicago's Latino community, Mexican heritage, and soccer culture. Designer Bio:

Emmanuel Cabrera is Owner and Lead designer for Gente Fina. He is the son of Mexican immigrant parents and a self-taught entrepreneur & fashion designer. His journey from a blue-collar background to the world of fashion reflects a deep commitment to creativity and perseverance. Drawing on Mexican roots.

Through Gente Fina, Emmanuel blends traditional Mexican artistry with modern, contemporary design, creating pieces that tell stories of culture, identity, and pride. His brand has quickly gained attention, thanks in part to creative marketing strategies, such as a giveaway on social media that caught the attention of Chicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu. This led to a collaboration with the Chicago Bulls and further solidified Gente Fina’s place in the local fashion scene. Gente Fina has also collaborated with the Chicago White Sox on a bomber jacket.

For Emmanuel, his work is more than just fashion—it's a love letter to Chicago and his Mexican roots.
