What is The Curio? 

The Curio is a Chicago fashion organization dedicated to uniting the Chicago fashion community and fashion consumer enthusiasts, showcasing the best Chicago fashion talent, and raising the profile of Chicago fashion here in Chicago, regionally and nationally.

What Events Does The Curio Produce?

The Curio produces fashion shows and presentations, tastemaker talks (panel discussions) and receptions, in-store events with local Chicago designers and Chicago retailers who carry Chicago designers, fashion socials (networking events), and custom programs.

How Does One Attend a Curio Event?

The Curio hosts different types of fashion events. We produce our own events and sometimes partner and collaborate with other fashion and cultural organizations. Some events are open to the public and are ticketed, meaning anyone can purchase a ticket via our website. Other events are only open to Curio Members and select fashion industry members.  One can become a Curio Member by purchasing a package on our website.

Where Does One Buy Tickets to Curio Events?

If the event is open to the public, one can purchase tickets by clicking the RSVP or TICKETS button under the event listing. This link will direct you to an external.

Are Curio Tickets Refundable?

No, but they are transferrable.

What Type of Fashion Designers Does The Curio Showcase?

Currently, The Curio showcases only Chicago area based fashion designers.  These designers are encompass all genres of design including, but not limited to, ready-to-wear, evening wear, streetwear, avant-garde, menswear, womenswear and unisex wear, bridal and accessories.

Does The Curio Showcase Fashion Talent Other Than Designers?

The Curio has mainly showcased fashion designers since its inception, but it has also done a fashion photography exhibition and is planning more exhibitions of fashion related art.  It also utilizes stylists, fashion photographers, models, and other fashion professionals in its events.
