Yolonda Ross is an actress, writer, director and producer.

She is a twice nominated IFP Spirit Award nominee, and a Gotham Award winner.

Yolonda is currently enjoying her 6th season as “Jada Washington” in Lena Waithe's Showtime series “THE CHI”.

Known for her authentic and layered characters, Yolonda has worked with everyone from Denzel Washington in “ANTWONE FISHER” to David Mamet in “PHIL SPECTOR” and Angela Bassett in “WHITNEY”.

She has had recurring roles in Baz Luhrmann’s “THE GET DOWN” on Netflix, ABC’s “HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER”, the mini-series “TERROR LAKE DRIVE”, and the recent Showtime “AMERICAN GIGOLO” opposite Jon Bernthal. Also, HBO’s “TREME” - which led her behind the camera to direct her short music film, “BREAKING NIGHT”.

She’s a member of NY’s famed Labyrinth Theater Company and recently finished the world premiere run of “HOW BLOOD GO” at Steppenwolf Theatre, produced by Congo Square in Chicago.

Next up on the big screen she can be seen starring opposite Liam Neeson in the feature film “THUG” - coming in 2024.

Evening’s Special Guest: Designer Ippolita Rostagno

Ippolita Rostagno, the daughter of a Florentine intellectual and an American artist, spent her formative years at the Istituto d’Arte of Florence, studying sculpture and ceramic arts. Ever an artist, with a background in modern dance, Ippolita has always been interested in gesture and a clear evidence of the “hand” of the artist in all her creations.

She founded IPPOLITA in 1999, having found a void in the market for fine jewelry that could be worn daily, and that women would want to buy for themselves. IPPOLITA jewelry is sold in the best department stores, such as Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nordstrom, etc., and since 2012 in her flagship store on Madison Avenue. In 2020 she opened a new boutique on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, and in 2022 her first European store in via Montenapoleone in Milan.
