Lizzy Lopez
Lizzy Lopez is the Founder & CEO of Tequila 1349—a woman-owned, small-batch, additive-free tequila crafted from 100% blue weber agave grown on her land in her hometown of Arandas, Jalisco.
A Chicago native and third-generation agave farmer, Lizzy got started planting 1,349 agave plants—inspiring both the name and the legacy behind the brand. As a certified tequila sommelier pursuing advanced mastery in the field, she works hands-on between Chicago and Mexico alongside award-winning master distillers to produce authentic, clean profiles that honor tradition, heritage and integrity while elevating the tequila-transparency culture.
Through entrepreneurial leadership, cultural & community involvement, and a deep respect for craftsmanship, Lizzy is building more than a spirits brand—she is reshaping what ownership looks like for women in spirits.
