Fashion and the Metaverse: A Panel Discussion
The Curio is excited to announce a new series of quarterly panels to be hosted with Saper Law and its Principal Lawyer Daliah Saper. This panel will feature MOS designer Estefania Galvin, expert advice from Daliah Saper of Saper Law, and will be moderated by The Curio's Maggie Gillette.
The First Global Fashion Project From Iran
Chicago’s avant-garde non-profit, The Intrigue Yellow Foundation, presented a one-of-a-kind runway fashion show at the Waldorf Astoria on February 23rd featuring Iranian designer Leyla Keshani. Leyla Kashani is renowned for her commitment to ethical luxury and reviving the lost craftsmanship of Ancient Persia to create modern yet timeless wearable arts.
The Curio Announces Chicago Fashion Designer Open Call
We are excited to announce that The Curio is co-hosting two fashion events with 21c Museum Hotel and are looking for the best Chicago design talent to showcase. These presentations will be free of charge to all participating designers. We will also be providing models, production, and hair & make teams free of charge. This is because we want designers to be able to focus their time and energy on creating their lines and wares and let us take care of the rest.

This creator is at the forefront of innovation, from her trademark logo rendered as an augmented reality art piece to virtual try-ons and garments with QR codes that blend the physical and digital. And her outside-of-the-box thinking has captured the attention of some of the industry’s most prominent players.
The Curio x 21c Museum Hotel Holiday Fashion Soiree Soars
On December 21st The Curio hosted Chicago’s fashion community at 21c Museum Hotel to celebrate community, create new connections, and see some great fashion! The event brought out 200 of Chicago’s most stylish citizens to mingle and enjoy drinks and light bites from Lure Fishbar in front of the beautiful backdrop of 21c’s art exhibition entitled “Pop Stars! Popular Culture and Contemporary Art.”
The Curio x 21c Museum Hotel Announce Holiday Fashion Soiree Line-Up
On December 21st from 5:30-8pm, The Curio is hosting Chicago’s most fashionable holiday party with 21C Museum Hotel. Over 200 of Chicago’s fashion community will come together with fashionable consumers to celebrate the successes of 2022 and all to come in 2023.
Champions of Success Fashion Panel
The Curio had the privilege of attending the Champions of Success panel - a Non-Agency Brand Closet Showroom - discussing retail, fashion & art moderated by Dionne Williams, creator of Emerge! Fashion Runway Show, and featured CaSandra Diggs (CFDA President), Elliot Carlyle (Consulting Director for CFDA Connects), and Delvin McCray (Chicago fashion designer & Project Runway contestant). It’s not often that a lineup of heavy hitters from the fashion industry descends on Chicago, and we have all the details for you.
