The Curio was excited to return as a key partner for the Driehaus Fashion Awards 2026, the longest running awards and runway show, which began in 2002. For the 2026 show there were 18 designers who showcase 4-5 different looks, and this diverse group of designers were from The School of the Art Institute, Dominican University, and Columbia College Chicago. There was a total of $37,500 given in rewards over 6 different categories. This event was open to select fashion industry members as well as Curio VIP members by invitation.

Emma Mendell – First Place and Best Construction Award, Dominican University

Amaya Marjorie Lewicki – Second Place, School of the Art Institute

Manahel Al Mosleh – Third Place, School of the Art Institute (award accepted by Katrin Schnabl)

Jun Chen – Fashion Innovator Award, School of the Art Institute

Allison Galvan – Distinguished Designer Award (for retail readiness), Dominican University
