Designer Bio:
Corey D. Williams is a true West Side Chicago native with a creative hustle that doesn’t quit. He’s an actor, model, designer, stylist, and author—basically, a one-man brand with a whole lot to say.
You’ve probably seen him on shows like Chicago Fire, Empire, or Power Book IV: Force, where he brings real energy to the screen. On the fashion side, he’s modeled for big names like Nike and Harley-Davidson, but he’s also been doing his own thing since 2012 with his lifestyle brand, GRÉVYI. His designs have been worn by artists like Ludacris, Vic Mensa, and Chris Redd—proof that Corey’s style speaks for itself.
Outside the spotlight, Corey’s just as passionate about giving back. He’s the author of Justin the Good Listener, a children’s book inspired by his time as a teacher. The book’s sold over 10,000 copies, and Corey keeps the message alive by hosting live readings in schools across the city.
When it comes to vision, Corey doesn’t play small.
“My goal for GRÉVYI has always been to make it Chicago’s fashion house, just like Paris has Louis Vuitton and Chanel, Milan has Gucci and Prada, London has Burberry and Alexander McQueen, and New York has Ralph Lauren and Tom Ford.
Don’t shy away from your dream just because your start doesn’t look like your destination. I started in my momma’s crib—now we’re about to turn it into a landmark.”
Whether he’s creating, performing, or inspiring the next generation, Corey D. Williams is putting on for Chicago—and making his mark, one move at a time.
