The Blue Paradox Sustainable Fashion Show
Presented by SC Johnson with support from The Curio, Sustainable Fashion Week Chicago, Zzazz Productions & The Krim Group
Event hosted by NBC Chicago’s Cortney Hall, with panel including Nigel Barker & Kristin Mariani
The show featured 20 current & recent grads of the 5 Chicago area fashion schools who were showcased a high-profile sustainable fashion show in the magnificent Rotunda of The Griffin Museum of Science & Industry. The evening also included a tour of Blue Paradox Exhibition, a Panel Discussion, plus a Dinner and Reception. Each designer created a unique fully recycled signature piece for the show.
Guests include Chicago P.D.’s Marina Squerciati, Benjamin Levy Aguilar & Toya Turner, Chicago Fire’s Jake Lockett & Hanako Greensmith, and Chicago Med’s Nick Gehlfuss, as well as fashion designers Maria Pinto, Christina Karin & Sheila Rashid, style influencer Brenda Levesque, and select members of the media.
The event generated substantial media coverage including Extra TV, Parade, Just Jared, Chicago Star, NBC Chicago & more.
